Tsivlou lake

The lake Tsivlou is located on an altitude of 800m and its depth is 77m. This is one of the few lakes of Egialia. It has been created by a landslide in 1912, when the ancient river Krathis was hedged. The visitor of the lake Tsivlou will be surprised by its beauty. In the lake, they grow five different species of fish.

Its flora and fauna is also admirable. There tend to grow lobsters, the crab, the Greek frog, the water turtle, the water snake etc. Many mammals also live there, as well as amphibians and snakes. Around that area live foxes, jackals etc. Lastly, there are mentioned 24 different species of water-friendly plants.
