The Christmas Park

The Christmas Park

The Christmas Park in Aigio, Egialia, began operating in 2012 as a space for Christmas decorations and various festive events. Since then, it has become one of the city’s most beloved traditions, attracting many visitors from different parts of Greece who come to experience something new and unique. Every year, the Christmas Park features a different theme — and every year, it offers a new and memorable experience.

Visitors to the park will find not only colorful lights, but also shop stalls and vendors selling a variety of edible and non-edible products. In addition, some stalls support charitable causes, as well as the “House of Love,” where anyone may donate goods to those in need.

Another beautiful attraction at the Christmas Park is the “House of Wishes,” where both children and adults can write their own wish for the New Year on small cards. There are also several games and activities for our young visitors. Besides the games, children will also have the joy of meeting Santa Claus, taking photos with him, and even sending him a letter through his own Christmas mailbox.

Each year, the lake hosts a different decorative installation matching the park’s theme, along with a spectacularly decorated bridge.

Across the park’s benches, visitors will find various Christmas statues perfect for festive photos. Throughout the park there are many decorations and illuminated portrait spots, also ideal for creative and impressive pictures.

This year’s theme is “Dreamland,” and almost every day a different event takes place.

The activities held during the park’s operating period offer visitors the opportunity to participate — entirely free of charge.

For those who wish to visit Aigio’s Christmas Park this year, it will be open from 13/12/2023 until 06/01/2024.
