Mount Panachaiko

On its west, Egialia boundaries with the mount Panachaiko and one part of it belongs to the municipality. It is the fir forest, which is located on the far north part of Peloponnese.

The mount plays an important role in the climate and the ecological balance of west Egialia. At the top of the mount there is the shelter called ‘Prasoudi’. Lastly it is important to mention that from the mount Panachaiko, the river Salmeniko fl ows out.
